On the same occasion, Guntoro Airport Operation and Safety Senior Manager confirmed that overall it had decreased. Guntoro said that the total number of passengers compared to last year had decreased by 24%. Total Passengers in 2018 reached 127,394 while in 2019 only 96,476 passengers. The peak is divided into two for the Christmas period on December 21 for the arrival and December 28 for the reverse flow (D + 3). Then the New Year Period on December 29, then departure on January 5, 2020 (D + 5).
For the movement of the aircraft itself in 2018 as many as 938, in 2019 as many as 735 means that there was a decrease of 22%. Although on the other hand there are also requests for Extra Flight. The submission of an extra flight was planned for 24 flights but 6 flights were realized, meaning that only 25% were realized.
Cargo has also decreased, which in 2018 was 336,863 kg, now only 224,165 kg or down 33%. And for On Time performance (OTP) it reaches 77%.

The decline is predicted due to school holidays whose entry does not coincide, as well as the support of land transportation, with the existence of toll roads, although the effect is not so significant. However, the service at Adi Soemarmo Airport for Chirstmas and New Year still implemented so much as possible and there were no outstanding incidents.
