Safety is a top priority in every airport operational activity that we carry out. We are committed to implementing, developing and improve strategy, management system and the appropriate processes to ensure that all airport operational activities that we carry out will prioritize airport operational safety in accordance with national and international standards. Safety Management activities have been regulated in Article 217, 219 and 220 Law Number 1 of 2009 about flight. A systematic approach to managing safety, including the necessary organizational structure, obligation, policy and procedure. The Safety Management System is applied in airport operations in the form of an Manual Aerodrome, a Safety Management System Manual, an Airport Emergency Procedure (Operation Manual, safety, emergency response to an airport) that meets technical matters, personnel, facilities, airport operating procedures and safety management systems. . In addition, the Airport Assessment Activity as a follow-up to Safety Management, aims to: Determine the existence of problems, weaknesses, errors (hazards) that can cause conditions to underperform both Human Resources, facilities and required procedures (non standard / unsafe).

Safety Management System at PT. Angkasa Pura I (Persero) should be realized in the form of Airport Culture. Airport safety culture is the behavior of all members of the airport working community to prioritize airport safety. And the goals of this safety Culture include:

  4. Just culture

Airport Safety is the responsibility of all leaders and leaders of the company for the safety of an airport it manages.
