Boyolali - 2 people died and 3 people seriously injured in a plane crash due to pilot fails to land the plane and causing the plane caught fire, the alarm sounds loud and on duty AFFR officers swiftly prepared the equipments and headed for the scene in D8 Area Adi Soemarmo. That is a small piece of the scenario in HOT DRIIL in Adi Soemarmo Airport held on December 17, 2014.
This activity aims to implement the rescue and relief procedures in the Emergency Countermeasures Service at Adi Soemarmo Airport, and also to strengthen and improve coordination between functional units, improve the quality of Human Resources and the performance of main equipments of PKP-PK unit in accordance with the Standard Level of Service. On this occasion, General Manager PT. Angkasa Pura I (Persero) Adi Soemarmo Airport, Mr. Abdullah Usman said this program is a great routine program to increase safety and train personnel skills to practice the knowledge obtained as AFFR officers.
This exercise involved units and related institutions including AVSEC Personnel, Unit SMS & Health Environment Section, KKP Adi Soemarmo Airport, Some Related Units of the Air Force Base Adi Soemarmo, Airlines and several volunteers acting as victims.
