Wayang Orang Sriwedari is one art form of Javanese traditional performance, played by players that are very good in playing various characters. This presents a puppet story based on the story of Mahabharata and Ramayana containing Moral messages and embedded in the soul of the Javanese people.
With setting of exotic stage we will enjoy the unique show atmosphere, to bring us back to old times. Wayang Orang Sriwedari performs at Wayang Orang Sriwedari Building located at Taman Hiburan Sriwedari complex.
On special occasions we may see the mixed performance between wayang orang Sriwedari and wayang orang RRI Surakarta and artists of wayang orang Jakarta, Semarang and Surabaya.
