Boyolali (7/1) Integrated posts welcoming 2018 Christmas and 2019 New Years that are holds at Adi Soemarmo Airport starting on December 20 2018 until January 6 2019 officially closed today, Monday (7/1). The closure of the post are led by Airport Operation and Services Dept. Head PT. Angkasa Pura I Adi Soemarmo Airport attended by Airlines, Airnav, KKP, Indonesian Air Force and the subsidiaries.
“We said thank you for all ranks who have participated in implementing the Christmas and New Year (Nataru) integrated posts, so that the posts are done smoothly, controlled and safe. Although this situation are extreme, but Alhamdulillah there are no unexpected events” said Iwan Novi H as an Airport and Services Dept. Head.
Iwan also explained that the movement of aircraft, passengers and cargo at Adi Soemarmo Airport had decreased compared to the previous year. For aircraft movements down -28% from 1,244 to 893, Passengers down -34% from 183,564 to 120,876, and Cargo down -27% from 437,024 to 318,326 (2017/2108).
The decline is predicted due to the support of land transportation, with the opening of toll roads. However, the service at Adi Soemarmo Airport as long as Christmas and New Year (Nataru) remains implemented as much as possible and there are no events that stand out.
