Boyolali, September 2 2014. Pilgrims Haj Candidates for Hajj in 1435 H / 2014 AD have begun to depart, as much as 26.538 pilgrims from Central Java – Yogyakarta step by step will be dispatched from Adi Soemarmo Embarkation, Boyolali start on August 31 2014, at least 3 Flying Groups of Pilgrims Hajj candidates have entered Donohudan Hajj Dormitory to prepared departure processes to the holy land. On September 1 2014 around 05:00 a.m. as much as 363 pilgrims hajj candidates from Brebes and Tegal, Central Java, that entered from first Flying Group Adi Soemarmo Embarkation Solo, symbolically by the Deputy Governor of Central Java, Heru Sudjatmoko, representing the Governor of Central Java who was unable to attend, at the Donohudan Boyolali Hajj Dormitory, Central Java, then the prospective pilgrims headed for the bus to depart via Adi Soemarmo Airport, Boyolali at 07.15 a.m.

According to the schedule that determined by the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia, departure pilgrims hajj this year will held on September 1 until 28 2014 for Phase 1 (departure) and Phase II (arrival) start from October 9 until November 5 2014. The Adi Soemarmo embarkation was the second largest embarkation after the Juanda Surabaya embarkation with as many as 64 groups with 28,800 prospective pilgrims. Besides that, Adi Soemarmo Boyolali Airport and Janda Surabaya, several Airport that are managed by PT. Angkasa Pura I (Persero) also dispatch Pilgrims Hajj candidates namely, Sultan Hasanuddin Airport (27 flying groups/ 12.285 pilgrims), Sepinggan Airport (12 flying groups/ 4.284 pilgrims), Syamsuddin Noor Airport (13 flying groups/ 4.225 pilgrims), Adi Soemarmo Airport Solo (71 flying groups/ 26.625 pilgrims) and Lombok International Airport (11 flying groups/ 3.575 pilgrims).

For Adi Soemarmo Embarkation, hajj pilgrims' transportation this year using Garuda Indonesia Airlines who collaborates with Airtransat and XL Airways as an aircraft provider. With using an aircraft A330 – 200 Airbush type with capacity 380 passenger, pilgrim hajj candidates departed every day to Jeddah by transiting in Padang to do refueling.

Departures via the Adi Soemarmo Embarkation are divided from several districts in Central Java, including Brebes, Tegal, Pekalongan, Pemalang Batang, Grobogan, Salatiga, Demak, Semarang City, Jepara, Rembang, Blora, Pati, Kudus, Banjar Negara districts, Banyumas , Cilacap, Boyolali, Sragen, Surakarta, Karanganyar, Sukoharjo, Klaten, Wonogiri, Wonosobo, Magelang, Temanggung, Purworejo and the Special Region of Yogyakarta.
