After the Cancellation homecoming of the Eid Al-Fitr 1442 Hijriah, Adi Soemarmo Airport Passengers have Increased

Boyolali – After the cancellation homecoming of the Eid Al-Fitr 1442 Hijriah, starting from 18 May 2021 the operational hours of Adi Soemarmo International Airport operate for nine hours from 08.00 a.m. until 17.00 p.m. Prior to the cancellation of the homecoming period from 6 to 17 May 2021, Adi Soemarmo International Airport operates for eight hours, starting at 09.00 a.m. until 17.00 p.m.

 “After the cancellation homecoming until June, Adi Soemarmo International Airport has served as many as 86.456 passengers, 784 airlines and 296.794 kg cargo while remaining consistent with the implementation of health protocols. This is an increase after the cancellation of homecoming, namely the number of flights between 14-18 per day and the number of passengers around 1,500-2,000 passengers per day. The operating airlines are Garuda Indonesia, Lion Air, Citilink, Batik Air and NAM Air," explained Yani Ajat Hermawan as General Manager of PT. Angkasa Pura I Adi Soemarmo International Airport.

Yani Ajat also added that the most popular route was the SOC – CGK route with 2,269 passengers on 18 May 2021.

"Despite the increase in the number of passengers, we have made a series of efforts to maintain health protocols so that they can run well," explained Yani Ajat.

Yani Ajat also explained the conditions or rules for traveling for domestic people using air transportation after the cancellation of Homecoming through Adi Soemarmo International Airport, namely for the purpose of Bali island 2x24 hour RT-PCR is required, to Central Kalimantan and West Kalimantan 3x24 hour RT-PCR is required and to other areas RT-PCR 3x24 hours, Rapid Antigen 2x24 hours and GeNose C19 1x24 hours. And it is hoped that prospective passengers can prepare travel documents in accordance with the rules for convenience when traveling.

The airport has also increased the operational hours of health services. The Rapid Antigen service operates every day start from 06.30 a.m. - 15.00 p.m. and GeNose C19 every day start  from 08.00 a.m. - 15.00 p.m.
