Boyolali - The Covid 19 pandemic that has spread in various countries, including in Indonesia, resulting in more and more people that infected from day to day while the medical personnel they have are still very limited. In trying to prevent the spread of Covid 19 and the handling of Covid 19, Angkasa Pura I (Persero) through PT. Angkasa Pura I Adi Soemarmo Airport Branch on Monday (29/6) distributed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) assistance to several Referral Hospitals in the Surakarta City. Among the hospitals that received Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) assistance was dr. OEN Kandang Sapi Hospital and PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital Surakarta.
" Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) assistance is part of the distribution of assistance for the partnership and Community Development Program. The distribution of this assistance is a form of support from PT. Angkasa Pura I on efforts to prevent and handle Covid 19," said Yani Ajat Hermawan as a General Manager of PT. Angkasa Pura I Adi Soemarmo Airport.
Yani also explained that this activity based on the Decree of the Minister of BUMN Number SK-77/MBU/03/2020 about the Establishment of a BUMN National Disaster Task Force, in which PT. Angkasa Pura I (Persero) has been appointed as Co. PIC for the Surakarta City Region which is committed to implementing the National Disaster Date Program.
As for the assistance that has been given in the form of 200 Hazmat, 1.500 Surgical Masks, 200 N95 Masks, 200 liters Handsanitizers, 50 boxes of Gloves and 80 Face Shields.
On the same occasion, dr. William Tanoyo, M.Kes as the President Director of RS.dr Oen said that RS. Dr Oen as the second referral hospital appointed by the Governor, currently serves patients under surveillance (PDP). So that the donations that has given from PT. Angkasa Pura I (Persero) in the form of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is very useful for medical personnel, and hopefully that our beloved Solo city will soon be free from the Covid-19 Pandemic.
