PREVENT TRANSMISSION OF COVID-19, ADI SOEMARMO TEMPORARY STOPPING THE FLIGHT

      BOYOLALI - Supporting Government regulations about the ban of homecoming to prevent the transmission of Covid-19, followed up by Adi Soemarmo Airport by temporarily not operating commercial flights for passengers. This is done in accordance with the regulation of the Indonesian Minister of Transportation Number 25 of 2020 about transportation control during the Eid Fitr 1441 H homecoming season in order to prevent the spread of Covid 19. The Ministry of Transportation stated that domestic passenger flights still be allowed to operate until Friday (24/4)

" According to government regulations, the temporary ban on the use of air transportation will take effect from April 24, 2020. However, today Friday April 24 2020 is still permitted to operate considering that passengers making reservations have been made for a long time and also so that flight operators can give their obligations to passengers," said Abdullah Usman as the General Manager of PT. Angkasa Pura I Adi Soemarmo Airport.

Abdullah Usman also explained that his part would continue to keep things safe and conducive when passengers reroute, refund or reschedule. Meanwhile, for cargo transportation and special flights still served by Adi Soemarmo Airport.

The temporary flight ban is implement until 31 May 2020 and will be extended if necessary.
